I used to be really involved in playing live music. Thats kind of faded away, but here is some stuff that I wrote in the past.

"Socialized Depression"

I wrote this one because I, like many other young people out there, struggle with alot of depression and other stuff that goes along with growing up and finding yourself. The song is basically my feelings towards depression medication being used so freely these days by everyone...however, i understand there are people that need it.

My school is FULL of military recruiters almost on a daily basis. I dont like the pressure it puts on me and peers. Everyone one that doesnt want the military to have your personal records should go to there high school office and request a "Military OPT OUT" form.

Homosexuals deserve their rights. Plain and simple. There is nothing evil about love between two human beings and it makes me sick that in 2008 it is still an issue. Check your head.

Global warming scares the SHIT out of me and it should scare you too. Before we know it we arent going to have many of the things we take for granted and its time to start making changes in out daily lifes.

This song is about our community uniting for the common good, because divided we are powerless. If we all work together, there is nothing we cant accomplish.

The Flood

These are pictures of a local Oklahoma City band called "The Flood". I really enjoy taking pictures of live bands because of the challenge to capture the emotions and furocity of the musicians. Also, the unique lighting of venues makes it alot of fun to experiment with shutter controls to make some artsy shots.
